Roles & Responsibilities
Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command line interface
Experience with Infra, Mainframe and Mule Monitoring through Observability tools
Experience developing technical documentation to include architecture diagrams, user guides, white papers or product manuals
5+ years of current experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Implementation
Experience with implementing Synthetic monitoring, Real User Monitoring and Log based monitoring for applications.
Experience with implementing any APM software (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace or AppDynamics)
Proficiency and demonstrable understanding in at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, Node.JS, Objective-C, Java-Dalvik
Experience with automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform
Proven experience working with container orchestration i.e. Kubernetes and Docker
Strong experience with Cloud IaaS providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure
Experience with enterprise monitoring systems i.e. Nagios, Elastic and Splunk
Experience with serverless functions i.e AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions
Experienced and comfortable closely collaborating with Application teams to ultimately drive App Team-focused outcomes!
Experience successfully leading global end-to-end process and technology transformation projects
Well organized and ability to meet SLAs!
Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate processes within and across teams
Self-motivated, independent and self-educating, yet willing to stop, collaborate and listen with partner community and fellow Splunkers
